FAQs
What is Pantry To Go?
Pantry To Go is a free community transportation and delivery service that helps individuals and families access their local food pantry. We provide rides to and from the pantry and offer home delivery for those who cannot travel.
Is the service really free?
Yes—100% free. There are no fees, no membership requirements, and no hidden costs.
Who can use Pantry To Go?
Anyone who needs help getting to a food pantry or receiving pantry groceries. Families, seniors, individuals with disabilities, those without transportation, or anyone going through a difficult time are welcome to use our service.
How do I request a ride or delivery?
You can fill out the request form on our website. Once we receive your request, we’ll confirm your pickup time and details.
How far in advance do I need to schedule?
We recommend scheduling at least 48-72 hours in advance to ensure availability, but we do our best to accommodate same-day needs if possible.
What’s the process?
The process is very simple. The pantry is donation based but it offers frozen meat, seafood alternatives, bread, fresh produce, juice, snacks &milk. At times they may even provide toilet paper, feminine hygiene products, baby clothes, diapers & wipes, when available.
The FIRST VISIT process is in 3 steps:
Grab a number and a clip board to give some basic information about your household and their needs.
Once your number is called you will then go over that information with a volunteer and then you will sit back in the waiting area until your number is called again.
Once your number is called the volunteers at the pantry wheel the groceries to the car and they will load it up for you.
Is my information kept private?
Absolutely. Your personal information and reasons for using the service are kept confidential. We believe everyone deserves dignity and respect. We only collect data to understand the demographic and who is benefiting the most from our services, so we are better able to help more people in the future.
